Chamara De Silva is a seasoned rugby player with an impressive track record both in Sri Lanka and Australia. He began his journey as the captain of Kingswood College Kandy's rugby team, leading the squad from Under-15 through to Under-19. His leadership on the field, combined with his strategic mindset and relentless passion for the game, made him a standout player during his school years.
Following his school rugby career, Chamara transitioned into the professional club scene in Colombo, where he represented two of Sri Lanka’s premier rugby clubs—Havelocks Sports Club and CH & FC. During his tenure with these clubs, Chamara honed his skills further, showcasing versatility, agility, and unwavering dedication.
Chamara later took his rugby journey overseas, joining Harlequins Chadstone in Melbourne, Australia. His experience and leadership qualities quickly became assets to the team, where he continues to play an influential role. Chamara's extensive experience in both Sri Lankan and Australian rugby leagues has equipped him with a unique blend of tactical awareness, physicality, and adaptability on the field.
